The Macon County Conservation District offers a variety of rental opportunities.

Pavilion Rentals

Are you planning a birthday party, family reunion or company picnic?
The Macon County Conservation District has outdoor pavilions available for both small and large groups which can accommodate up to 120 people. Pavilions include tables, grills, water, and restroom facilities. Pavilions are located at Rock Springs Conservation Area, near Decatur; Friends Creek Conservation Area, north of Argenta; Fort Daniel Conservation Area, near Mt. Zion; and, Griswold Conservation Area, at Blue Mound. The fee is $25.00 for an all day reservation. Reserve a pavilion and make any outdoor event special! Room Rentals

The Rock Springs Nature Center offers room rentals for meetings, parties, and general group gatherings.

Rentals can include: set-up, coffee makers, audio-visual equipment, tables, chairs and use of kitchen facilities.

There are also exhibit halls, Bluestem Theater, an art gallery, and staff available to provide interesting and educational programs. (see Educator’s Guide and Prairie Islander Newsletter for program listings)

Auditorium

(pictured at right) 28’ X 50’ room, carpeted, ADA accessible, round or rectangular tables, chairs, seats up to 100 people.
Fees: $150 full day $75 half day Set-up $50

Upper Level Conference Room

20’ X 24’ room, carpeted, ADA accessible, round or rectangular tables, chairs, seats up to 25.
Fees: $80 full day $40 half day Set-up $25

Orientation Room

20’ X 24’ room, carpeted, ADA accessible, round or rectangular tables, chairs, seats up to 25.
Fees: $80 full day $40 half day Set-up $25
