When does registration start?
Registration for summer camps will begin in the spring of 2012.
Where do I register?
Registration may be done in person seven days a week at Rock Springs Nature Center or over the phone Mondays through Fridays with a credit or debit card.
Relatives, neighbors, and friends can register for you, but the camp waiver has to be filled out by a parent or guardian.
Note: You are not registered for camp until payment is received.
What is the deadline for registration?
We prefer that campers are registered at least two days in advance of the camp date to ensure ample materials are available.
How do I pay for camp?
We accept Cash, Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Checks made payable to Macon County Conservation District. Note: Credit and Debit Cards are accepted Monday through Friday at our business office located in the lower level of Rock Springs Nature Center .
What if I need a refund?
To obtain a refund, we must be notified five days before the camp session.
What forms do I need to fill out?
We require that all camp parents/guardians fill out a registration form. The registration form covers all participants in the family and is effective from April 30, 2011 through April 30, 2012. The registration form must be submitted by the first day of camp.
What information do I need to have ready for the registrar?
When registering, please be prepared to give the complete name of the camp and day of the week and/or date information to the registrar. Such as, “I want to register my child for a Mini Camp, Toddler Camp, Little Skunks Hole, June 14.” Or “I want to register my child for Earth Adventure, Tuesdays, Weeks 1, 2, 4, and 6.” This is especially important when registering by phone!
