Green Tax Credits

You may not realize it, but you may have purchased something in 2007 that can earn you a tax credit!

If you purchased a fuel-saving car or installed energy-efficient appliances in your home you may qualify. The professional who assists you with your taxes can help you verify your eligibility for tax credits.

Go to www.energystar.gov and click on “Tax Credits Under the Energy Bill” at the bottom of the page. You will note that most credits expired December 31, 2007, but you still have until April 15, 2008 to file for them on your 2007 taxes.
