The Macon County Conservation District is seeking bids for construction of a maintenance facility. The scope of work includes constructing a new pre-engineered building on an existing site. Site work includes minor remodeling of existing pole barn, grading, paving, concrete flatwork, site lighting, new well, new transformer and fencing. Building includes concrete foundations, elevated slab and slab-on-grade, metal building system with banded insulation, insulated overhead doors, interior masonry bearing walls, interior load and non-load bearing metal stud walls, metal doors, frames and hardware, aluminum windows, pre-engineered metal stair/railings, acoustic ceiling, paint and concrete stain finishes, restrooms and accessories, radiant slab and geothermal mechanical systems, welding hood and safety wash, domestic water storage, softener and distribution and electrical power distribution and lighting. This project is subject to prevailing wage law.
